A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Concert
The Chorale will conclude its 21st season in traditional Broadway style with selected choral arrangements of whimsical and humorous songs. An evening of fun & hilarity!

 

President
Laura Sanner

The President of the Chorale’s Board of Directors is elected to a one-year term by a vote of the dues-paying membership of the Chorale.  The President must preside over all meetings of the Board of Directors and meetings of the general membership, must organize special ad hoc committees and appoint chairpersons for those committees, must serve as a non-voting member of every committee of the Board, must approve all singing engagements before the Chorale is committed to perform, must chair the Program and Budget Committees of the Board, and must commit to serve as Past President on the Board the year succeeding Presidency.

President - Elect
Carol Sullivan

The President-Elect is elected to a one-year term on the Board of Directors.  The President-Elect must commit to serve the succeeding term as President and the term succeeding Presidency as Past President.  The President-Elect must work closely with the Board’s President to insure a smooth transition into Presidency.  In the absence of the President, the President-Elect must preside at Board of Directors’ meetings and meetings of the general membership.  The President-Elect must serve as chair of the Gala Committee, must serve on the Fundraising, Program, and Budget Committees, and must appoint members to the Nominating Committee as set forth by the Bylaws.

Vice President
Rachael Bourque

The Vice President is elected to a two-year term on the Board of Directors.  The Vice President serves as chair of the Publicity/Marketing Committee and must preside at Board of Directors’ meetings and meetings of the general membership in the absence of the President and President-Elect.

Secretary
Elizabeth Rogers

The Secretary is elected to a one-year term on the Board of Directors.  The Secretary must maintain accurate, permanent records of all meetings of the Board and the general membership, must maintain decorum at all Board meetings and Chorale functions, must maintain accurate attendance records for each meeting of the Board, each rehearsal, and each Chorale performance, must maintain a list of current Chorale members and officers and distribute the list to the Chorale as necessary, must organize the section leaders, must provide New Member Packets, must provide member nametags at each rehearsal, must serve as chair of the Member Recruitment Committee, must be named as co-signer on all Chorale bank accounts, and must handle all Chorale correspondence.

Treasurer
Jene Gravley

The Treasurer is elected to a three-year term on the Board of Directors.  The Treasurer must handle all of the banking for the Chorale, must pay all bills incurred by the Chorale in a timely manner, must maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and make them available to the public, must obtain an annual financial review and tax return from a Certified Public Accountant, must serve on the Budget and Grant Committees, must chair the Fundraising & Development Committee, must maintain accurate records of all dues-paying members of the Chorale, must conduct business in such a manner that the Chorale maintains its 501(c)3 tax-exempt status, and must prepare and provide to the Board an annual financial statement within one month after the close of each performing year.

Past - President
Phil Armstrong

The Past President serves a one-year term on the Board of Directors the season immediately succeeding Presidency.  The Past President serves as an advisor to the President, presides at Board of Directors’ meetings in absence of other key Board members, serves as chair of the Arts Center Committee, and serves on the Fundraising & Development Committee.
