Laura Sanner is a graduate of Texas Christian University, where she prepared to be a secondary school choral director. A resident of Irving since 1960, Ms. Sanner directed the Irving Women's Choral Club for several years and several Irving church choirs of all ages for more than 25 years. She also taught music at the Creative School at Walnut Hill United Methodist Church in Dallas. She also participated in the Irving Community Theatre for several years, both as performer and conductor. Ms. Sanner joined the Chorale in 2006 after serving on the Irving Arts Board for six years.
