The Irving Chorale makes community involvement a top priority. For the Chorale, this takes many forms, including but not limited to:

• Scholarships for young singers to join a tour, for example, two students joined the Austria tour in 2002
• Scholarships for membership dues and other fees
• Appearances at community events, for example, Christmas tree lightings, Old City Park, caroling at Christmas parties, July 4th celebrations, weddings, funerals, private parties
• Sponsorship of clinicians, for example, fall clinic for IISD middle and high school choirs
• Sponsor children’s choirs to sing with the Chorale, for example, the Irving Boys Choir joined the Chorale for the March 2003 concert
• Complimentary ticket programs
